Third Time at Ironman Canada!

My name is Peter Sadler, and I have been with Vancouver Police for 24 years.  I have always been a runner, a very slow runner, and was reluctant to take on Ironman.  For a start I hadn’t ridden a bicycle in 20 years, and couldn’t swim much further than a large bathtub.  I have friends that are Ironman veterans so I blame them for the plunge.

I signed up for Ironman 2004 as part of the  Ironcops  team because of the cause we support.  Having lost friends to cancer, I feel strongly that  it’s a fight we need to win.  I was with the glow worms at the back of the pack in 2004, getting my moneys worth.  This year I hope to raise more money (see you at the Headshave) and cross the line with a smile on my face.  See you there Suzie Q.
