Second Time at Ironman Canada!

Prior to last year, the longest triathlon I had done was sprint distance tri (1/2 Olympic Distance) in Mackenzie. Not being much of a swimmer I have shied away from the triathlon training, but I figured if Ray Bernoties can do an Ironman, anyone can.  In 2006, I proved I was right as I completed Ironman Canada.

Cancer touches everyone's life and I am no exception; having lost several friends, colleagues and family members over the years. I am dedicating my race to them, to those battling cancer in Northern BC, and to our detachment's Operations Officer who is presently undergoing chemotherapy.
